Due to COVID-19, our Sunday services will be outdoors.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Children are a blessing from God and a gift to our church family. At Home Church, we see the value of each and every child. We also see that God has designed the home to be the place of primary discipleship. That is why we have children and youth with us on Sundays throughout the service. The parents are the most important influence on a child's life.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9
“Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates.

Babies and Toddlers
There is a space in the back of our sanctuary where we have a baby gate for any families with babies, toddlers, and pre-school aged children who have difficulty sitting with parents. We also have our service streaming on the tv in the conference room (the first room on the right when you enter the building).

Children and Youth
We see that there is more value for our children and youth to sit with their parents during the duration of the Sunday service. We see this as a part of the discipleship process for parents. We are teaching our children what Sundays are about. What does it mean to sing to Jesus? What does it mean to pray?  Why do What does it mean to listen to a sermon? Why do we sit and listen quietly to the sermon?  What does it mean to fellowship with other Christians? All of these questions, and more, are being answered by what we say, and even more powerfully, by what we do on a Sunday.

The Whole Church
Although the parents are the most important influence in a child's life, we also see the church body as a part of the discipleship process as well. The parents need the encouragement from other members and so do the children. The children area mission field for the whole church to reach.
